The Nocturnal Mysteries of the Lindre Pond
On the occasion of the Nature Festival, the Department of Moselle, in partnership with the Lorraine Regional Natural Park, invites you to an exceptional immersion at the Domaine de Lindre.
The evening begins with a free buffet dinner before leaving to observe, listen and feel all the richness of biodiversity when the day fades and nature reveals its mysteries in the darkness.
For this, 3 workshops are offered (reservation for a single workshop):
- The shuttlecocks of the night (30 people)
Using ultrasound detectors, discover the different species of bats present around the pond. Learn to distinguish their flights, habitats and hunting methods, and discover the essential role they play in the balance of ecosystems. Workshop led by CPEPESC.
- Meeting with the ladies of the night (16 people)
Observation and presentation of two emblematic species:
the Owl scares, the Owl owl
Discreet silhouettes and mysterious songs will accompany this fascinating encounter with these nocturnal birds of prey. Workshop led by the Preserve Biodiversity Collective.
- Sensory walk through the heart of nocturnal sounds (15 people)
Along the path bordering the pond and the reed beds, let yourself be guided by an auditory immersion: forest rustling, nocturnal bird songs, lapping water, invisible movements in the reeds...
