Support for cultural projects
Introduction
The Department of Moselle supports cultural actors, associations, communities and project leaders in the realization of their artistic, heritage and cultural initiatives. This support policy aims to boost creation, enrich the local cultural offering, promote heritage and strengthen access to culture for all.
Why this support?
The Department undertakes to:
- promote cultural and artistic development throughout the Moselle territory,
- promote local and heritage initiatives,
- support cultural actors in the design and implementation of innovative, structuring or enriching projects for the public.
Who is this support for?
Depending on the devices offered:
- Territorial communities of Moselle (municipalities, intermunicipalities) wishing to carry out structuring or recurring cultural projects;
- Cultural associations and actors working for the promotion of culture and heritage in the territory;
- Specific project leaders relating to artistic, heritage or cultural fields, in line with the objectives of the Department.
What types of projects can be supported?
Support may include:
- the creation, production or broadcast of cultural events,
- mediation or heritage enhancement actions.
- innovative or participatory artistic initiatives
- audiovisual projects,
- projects adapted to varied audiences, whether heritage interventions, visual arts, music, theater or cultural workshops.
How to apply?
The application procedures and the documents to be provided vary depending on the system:
- For the communities, a grant application must be submitted according to the defined periods and may be conditional on the production of a qualitative and financial report if support has already been granted the previous year.
- For other types of projects or cultural leaders, it is recommended to contact the services in charge of artistic practices and projects of the Department to obtain detailed information on the available systems, the eligibility criteria and the steps to follow.
