THE SAINTE-THÉRÈSE CHURCH IN METZ: A MAJOR BUILDING BETWEEN TRADITION AND MODERNITY
Designed by Roger-Henry EXPERT, this monument is one of the rare buildings to have been classified as a historic monument (1998), less so
fifty years after its construction (1954 for the church and 1963 for its spire)! Its health status is now an emergency to guarantee its conservation and integrity. The conference proposed by Hugues DUWIG, heritage architect in Moselle, will present its historical, architectural and artistic interest, notably with the stained glass windows-claustras by Nicolas UNTERSTELLER, unique in France.
