Conference: Renée de Riocour, the young girl from the War of 1870

On the occasion of the book's release at the Presse Universitaire de Strasbourg, A young aristocrat from Lorraine facing the war of 1870 The diary of Renée de Riocour (1870-1871), the author Timothée Muller will give a conference on his work in Saint-Julien-lès-Metz.

 Renée de Riocour was 18 years old when the Franco-Prussian War of 1870 broke out. A historical event that she recounts from start to finish in this diary. Preserved in the Departmental Archives of Moselle, this unique document questions the historian about the memorial dimension of the story and private writing which places the reader at the forefront of the war in the shoes of a young Lorraine from the 19th centurye century.
